Who We Are
The Fullstop Foundation was established in March 2021 by Abigail Janse Van Rensburg and Abby Hasleham.
The Foundation was birthed through the pandemic, because of the noticeable increase in brokenness and despair of the joyful people in South Africa.
Fullstop is compelled by a strong conviction that we are blessed to be a blessing and to love people above all else. Passion, determination and a readiness to serve people is the Fullstop teams motto and we are committed to fulfil this and reach our goals.

What We Do
Our mission is to reach out to people in our community who are overlooked and find themselves in difficult situations in life. We want to take the necessary steps to give them what they need to have more fruitful lives and careers. We intend to do this through learning these individuals needs and supporting them in the long run. We provide them with the necessary training and resources they need, in order to help them reach their career goals. #lovepeople.
OUR PROJECTS
OUTREACH DRIVES
Our Hands-on Days involve our volunteer teams in Jo’burg and Cape Town going out to people to understand their needs. We do this by handing out lunches and chatting with the amazing people in our society.
We attach contact cards to each lunch, so that each individual we meet on the Hands-on Days can call or WhatsApp us so that we can assist them further with their short and long term needs.
There are so many joyful, undervalued, hard-working and lowly paid individuals in our communities, who have families to support and can barely make ends meet. These hands-on days give us the opportunity to get connected to these individuals and make their day a little bit brighter.
Additionally we also run clothing drives, grocery drives and company community outreach projects/events. We are able to organize company community outreach days and fundraiser events. We previously ran a Christmas box drive with Bühler SA and a lunch drive with Centrasyte.
PROJECT FULLSTOP
This project is about providing individuals that we meet on our Hand-on Days, with training, tertiary education and career development opportunities. This project however, is about more than just providing services and resources to our candidates, but additionally providing support and care.
Once individuals are registered into the Fullstop Project, we get to know each person on a deeper level and we figure out how we can help them start a new career. Following this we provide our new candidates with next steps. This includes CV creation, interviewing skills, job readiness, sponsoring candidates courses or tertiary studies and other professional and personal guidance.
We provide every individual with life-long access to our program and we aim to equip individuals to reach their full potential, have more fruitful lives and higher standards of living.
